In the event you're already reaching for your wallet, well, you might want to hold off. We'll have more for you once we get to spend a little more time with the Notebook 9 series. Design: With an all-metal, aluminum frame, the Notebook 9 Pen is durable, stylish, and portable. That shouldn't be high praise, but man, it sure feels like it sometimes. The Notebook 9 Pen is a premium 2-in-1 that offers flexibility and portability, allowing you to work the way you want, wherever inspiration strikes. Enjoy low warehouse prices on name-brand Laptops & Notebook Computers products. On the plus side though, both keyboards were mostly fantastic (despite being just a hair on the gummy side) and the trackpads didn't make me want to shoot myself. Find a great collection of Laptops & Notebook Computers at Costco. And do it all at once with an ultra-fast 8th Generation Intel® Core i7 processor and a Radeon 540 graphics card. Easily switch between typing on the keyboard, writing with the intuitive S Pen, and navigating the brilliant touchscreen. Alas, neither of them has a touchscreen so some of you will have to reconfigure your muscle memory if you're used to slightly fancier machines. Bring flexibility to work with the powerful and versatile Samsung Notebook 9 Pro. It's always tough to get a sense of a device's performance while jockeying for position against a room full of reporters, both notebooks seemed plenty snappy during our brief testing periods. Samsung's small laptop also comes with a USB Type-C port in addition to its two USB 3.0 ports the bigger of the two also sports micro HDMI, mini Ethernet and mini VGA ports. With advanced features including enhanced connectivity, premium display and an added layer of security, the Samsung Notebook 9 offers the performance and portability to go wherever you need to go. In fact, you can actually see Samsung's extreme slimming kick in action by looking at the screen on the 15-inch model - the bezels along the side have been trimmed down so much that Samsung says the notebook is the size of a typical 14-inch laptop chassis. That means the 13.3-inch model weighs in at a startlingly light 1.85lbs, whereas its slightly larger cousin weighs in at 2.84lbs. Rather than build a chassis out of plastic, Samsung made both the 13.3 and 15-inch bodies of a magnesium alloy (though a different one than that used in the Galaxy TabPro S). Someday, all anyone will need for data, charging and video is a USB-C port, but we're not there yet. Here, there's a good balance, with two standard type-A USB ports, an HDMI output, a single USB-C port, a microSD card slot, and a micro-port for an optional Ethernet dongle. Ports and connections are always fighting for space on slim laptops, and we're seeing a general weeding out of underused ports across the industry.
